
GARDENS CLOSED FOR THE WINTER!
Riverhill Gardens and Malabar Cafe at Riverhill are both CLOSED for the winter.
We will re-open for our 2025 season on the 12th of March 2025. Our 2025 season runs until the 26th of October.
We have a fun, creative programme of drop-in events running throughout the season. All these events are included in your entry price.
We also have outdoor theatre performances in our Walled Garden as well as our adult craft workshops and yoga. There is a charge for these and you need to book in advance.

Our annual family-friendly Easter Event. Seek out all the sneaky little bunnies, hiding amongst the Rhododendrons, and claim your sweet treat reward.
A wonderful time to visit Riverhill - enjoy a woodland carpeted with heavenly bluebells. Just perfect for a leisurely wander & some family photos.

Seven Weeks of Dreaming and Creating…. A Miniature Summer to Spark Mighty Imaginations.
For the second week of summer we are making fairies and elves. Perfect to add to your miniature garden.
Love, relationships and mistaken identity. Twelfth Night is Shakespeare’s bittersweet romantic comedy where no-one is quite who they seem.
This week we are using clay, found natural bits and bobs, and our imaginations, to craft a cosy little woodland home.
Matchbox mania has come to Riverhill for our final week of Summer; Is it a bed for a bear or a box for a book? A jolly little house or a cosy wee nook?
So this week we are going to see what we can create from corks! I We thought, maybe, toadstools, to go with your miniature garden, but you probably have even better ideas!
Let’s try something different - We reckon that some cardboard tubes, lolly sticks, wool and beads can create a very cool puppet. Excited to see what you come up with!
Using fabric scraps, buttons and bits and bobs we are making colourful and creative flowers this week in the tipi. All welcome!

After Halloween we will be offering Sock Pumpkin Making, as well as BYO pumpkin carving…So if you have already carved a pumpkin and fancy doing something different, come and make a little sock pumpkin to take home with you!
