Best things about Riverhill...

Best things about Riverhill - oh my goodness, where do I start!

There is always something different in bloom, obviously the bluebells, Azaleas and Rhododendrons in their amazing colours, the wild flowers on the slopes in the car park and at our Mini Everest at the top of the hill. The scent of the Philadelphus, the wild garlic and the Trachelospermum Jasminoides. I enjoy the tranquility and shade of the rock garden, with a real Jurassic Park vibe.  I love to find insects etc, the crickets and grasshoppers at the top of the hill are a joy to hear on a lovely sunny day, not forgetting to mention the bees and flutterbys. And of course chatting to our visitors who quite often have a memory to share or lovely comments about their visit. Maybe I should have kept it simple and just say - I love it all....!

Cafe coffee order…

Coffee - usually I'm a tea drinker but Malabar do a lovely decaf Americano (best I've ever had, if I'm honest)

Favourite bench…

Favourite bench - I feel this may be a trick question as we don't really have time to sit on a bench...but probably in the rock garden if I had the time...
