Watching our children playing in the same garden that I grew up in, and them being part of the journey, as we breathe life back into the forgotten areas, and restore the gardens for the future.

Favourite bench…

In the spring, the bench on the azalea bank in the wood garden. Sitting here provides a snapshot of my great grandfather’s vision to plant azaleas, rhododendrons and maples on a carpet of bluebells.  In the winter when the benches are packed away, bonfires and maintenance tasks mean the only time I sit down is when I am driving my tractor!
